The Prophet's Practice of Visiting His Wives

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to take a bath and visit all of his wives.

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah used to (go around) all his wives and perform Ghusl once.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يَطُوفُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي غُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik tells us about the practice of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He would take a bath known as Ghusl and then visit all his wives. This shows us that he was very devoted to them and wanted to make sure they were taken care of. It also teaches us that hygiene is important in Islam, as taking a bath is an essential part of it. Additionally, it shows us how marriage should be respected in Islam; the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was devoted to his wives and treated them with respect.
