QUICK LESSONS:
Strive hard to do good deeds & follow Allah's commands

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of performing Hajj, which is one of the two kinds of jihad. According to this hadith, Umar said that Hajj is a form of jihad. In Islam, jihad means struggle or striving in order to do good deeds and follow Allah's commands. It can be done through physical action such as fighting in a war or it can be done through spiritual action such as fasting during Ramadan or performing pilgrimage rituals like Umrah and Hajj. In this hadith, Aishah was sent with her brother on an Umrah journey by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ which shows how important it was for Muslims to perform these rituals even during times when there were no wars going on. This hadith also teaches us that we should strive hard in order to do good deeds and follow Allah's commands even if it requires physical effort like travelling for pilgrimage rituals or spiritual effort like fasting during Ramadan.
