Hoping for the Best from Allah

SUMMARY: One should always hope for the best from Allah before they die.

Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari reported: I heard Allah's Messenger say three days before his death: None of you should die but hoping only good from Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو دَاوُدَ، سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، عَارِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ، مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ لاَ يَمُوتَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ يُحْسِنُ الظَّنَّ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

This hadith is about hoping for the best from Allah before one passes away. We should never give up hope and believe that everything will work out in our favor if we put our trust in Him. The Prophet Muhammad also taught us to be patient and accept whatever comes our way, as it is all part of His plan for us. This hadith reminds us to stay positive even when faced with difficult times, as we can be sure that God has something better planned for us if we remain hopeful and faithful to Him.
