QUICK LESSONS:
Pay people on time and in full according to what they are owed
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a man who worked as an iron smith and went to his employer, 'As b. Wa'il, to get the wages for his work. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that it is important to pay people their due wages in full and on time. He also taught us that it is wrong not to pay someone what they are owed or delay payment without good reason. We should always be honest in our dealings with others and make sure we do not take advantage of them or cheat them out of their rightful earnings. We should also remember that Allah will reward those who are just in their dealings with others, so we should strive to be fair when dealing with people in all aspects of life.
