The Mercy of Allah

SUMMARY: Allah's mercy is greater than His wrath.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: When Allah created the creation, He ordained for Himself and this document is with Him: Verily, My mercy predominates my wrath.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ، بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لَمَّا قَضَى اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ فِي كِتَابِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ فَهُوَ مَوْضُوعٌ عِنْدَهُ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي تَغْلِبُ غَضَبِي

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy of Allah, which is greater than His wrath. This hadith serves as a reminder to us that despite any wrongdoings we may have committed in our lives, we should never forget the immense mercy and forgiveness of Allah.
