The Mercy of Allah

SUMMARY: Allah's mercy is greater than His wrath.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: My mercy excels My wrath.
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ‏ "‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَبَقَتْ رَحْمَتِي غَضَبِي

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy and compassion of Allah. It tells us that no matter how angry or displeased He may be with us, His mercy will always be greater than His wrath. This is a reminder to all believers that even when we make mistakes, we should never forget the immense love and kindness that our Lord has for us. We should always strive to do our best in order to please Him and seek forgiveness when we fall short.
