Reciting the Quran with Ease

SUMMARY: This hadith encourages us to recite the Quran as long as we are able to, and when we find difficulty in doing so, we should stop.

Jundub (i. e. Ibn 'Abdullah) reported that Allah's Messenger said: Recite the Qur'an as long as your hearts agree to do so and when you find variance between them, then stand up.
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ جُنْدَبٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages us to recite the Quran regularly and with ease. It is important for Muslims to read and understand the words of Allah in order to gain knowledge and wisdom. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised that if one finds difficulty in reciting the Quran then they should stop until their hearts agree again. This teaches us that it is important not to force ourselves into something that may be difficult or uncomfortable for us. We should take our time and approach things with patience and understanding.
