EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the etiquette of praying and how to handle certain situations that may arise during prayer. It is narrated by 'Abbad bin Tamim who asked Allah's Messenger about what to do if someone imagines passing wind during prayer. The Prophet replied that the person should not leave their prayers unless they hear a sound or smell something. This teaches us that we should be mindful of our thoughts and actions while in prayer and take care to ensure we are following the proper etiquette for praying. We must also be aware of our surroundings and pay attention to any sounds or smells that may indicate something has happened during our prayers so we can act accordingly.
