Do good deeds regardless of whether you are alive or dead; Think of those who have passed away with kindness and generosity by doing good deeds in their name; Give alms on someone's behalf even after they have died; Show kindness towards others; Strive to do more acts of goodness throughout your life.

This hadith is about a man who asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ if his mother would receive reward for alms given on her behalf after her death. The Prophet ﷺ replied in the affirmative, meaning that she will still be rewarded even though she has passed away. This hadith teaches us that good deeds are never wasted and that we should always strive to do good deeds, even if it is not done by us directly but through someone else or on someone else's behalf.
