The Perfect Example of Kindness and Compassion

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the exemplary behavior of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) towards his servant Anas, who served him for nine years without any criticism or fault-finding.

Anas reported Allah's Messenger as saying: I served the Messenger of Allah for nine years, and I do not know (of any instance) when he said to me: Why you have done this and that, and he never found fault with me in anything.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ - عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تِسْعَ سِنِينَ فَمَا أَعْلَمُهُ قَالَ لِي قَطُّ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَلاَ عَابَ عَلَىَّ شَيْئًا قَطُّ
