The Cistern of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described a Cistern with a large distance between its two sides.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger as saying: There is before you a Cistern and the distance between its two sides is as it is between Jarba' and Adhruh.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَمَامَكُمْ حَوْضًا مَا بَيْنَ نَاحِيَتَيْهِ كَمَا بَيْنَ جَرْبَا وَأَذْرُحَ

In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH is describing a cistern that has an incredibly large distance between its two sides. He compares it to the distance between two cities called Jarba' and Adhruh. This hadith teaches us about how vast and immense Allah's blessings are for us as Muslims.
