The Sanctity of Time

SUMMARY: We should not curse time, as it is a creation of Allah.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle as saying: Do not curse Time, for it is Allah Who is Time.
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَسُبُّوا الدَّهْرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ

This hadith reminds us that time is a precious gift from Allah and should be respected. It teaches us to be mindful of how we use our time and to not take it for granted. We should remember that everything in this world is created by Allah and has its own purpose. Therefore, cursing or disrespecting something as important as time would be wrong and ungrateful. Instead, we should use our time wisely to do good deeds and strive for the pleasure of Allah.
