The Sanctity of Time

SUMMARY: We should not curse the time, as Allah is the Time.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: None of you should say: Woe be upon the Time, for verily Allah is the Time.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ ‏.‏ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ

This hadith also reminds us to be mindful of our words and actions, as they are all accountable to God. It also encourages us to appreciate every moment in life and make use of our time wisely.
