Sahih Muslim 2128 (Book 37, Hadith 190) #12675
The Denizens of Hell

SUMMARY: This hadith warns against two types of people who will not enter Paradise, those who use physical force to make others do wrong and women who lead their husbands astray.

AbU Huraira reported Allah's Messenger having said this: Two are the types of the denizens of Hell whom I did not see: people having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating people, and the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked, who would be inclined (to evil) and make their husbands incline towards it. Their heads would be like the humps of the Bukht camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such distance.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us about the consequences of committing sins and leading others astray. It mentions two types of people who will not be allowed into Paradise; those who use physical force to make others do wrong and women who lead their husbands astray. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described these people as having flogs like the tails of an ox with them, beating people, and women dressed but appearing naked with heads like the humps of a Bukht camel inclined to one side. He also said that they would not be able to smell the fragrance of Paradise even though it could be smelt from a distance. We should take this warning seriously and strive to stay away from sin in order for us to have a chance at entering Paradise in the hereafter.
