QUICK LESSONS:
Accept oneself as one is given by God , Focus on developing inner self instead of outward appearances .
EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr reported that a woman came to Allah's Messenger and asked if she could add false hair to her daughter’s head as her spouse liked them. However, the Prophet forbade her from doing so. This hadith teaches us that it is not permissible for us to change our physical appearance in order to please others or make ourselves more attractive. We should be content with what we have been given by Allah and accept ourselves as we are. It also teaches us the importance of modesty and humility in our lives and how we should not be too concerned with outward appearances but rather focus on developing our inner selves instead.
