Be kind to animals; Follow in Prophet Muhammed's footsteps; Perform medical procedures away from an animal’s face; Be guided by Allah’s wisdom and mercy

This hadith is about how Prophet Muhammad saw an animal that had been cauterized on its face and he disapproved of it. He commanded that it should be done on a part away from the face instead, and demonstrated this by having his own ass cauterized on its buttocks. This teaches us to be kind to animals and not cause them unnecessary pain or suffering. We should also take care when we are performing any medical procedures so as not to cause harm or discomfort unnecessarily. Furthermore, this hadith shows us how important it is for us to follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad in all aspects of life - even if it means going against what is commonly accepted at the time - as he was always guided by Allah's wisdom and mercy.
