Showing respect towards all living beings regardless of their faith or background .

This hadith is about the importance of showing respect to all living beings, regardless of their faith. It was narrated by 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila that Sahl bin Hunaif and Qais bin Sa'd were sitting in the city of Al-Qadisiya when a funeral procession passed in front of them and they stood up. They were told that it was the funeral procession of a non-believer under the protection of Muslims. When they heard this, they remembered an incident involving the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). He too had once seen a funeral procession pass by him and he stood up out of respect for it. When he was told that it belonged to a Jew, he asked if it wasn't a living being with a soul? This shows us how much respect we should have for all living beings no matter what their faith is or who they are. We should always show kindness and compassion towards everyone around us as this is what our beloved Prophet taught us to do.
