QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings even while resting or sleeping

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a position that should not be taken when lying down. It is narrated by Jalbir b. Abdullah who reported Allah's Messenger as saying that none of us should lie on his back and place one of his feet upon the other. This means that it is prohibited to lie down in this position and we must avoid it at all costs. The Prophet Muhammad was teaching us to be mindful of our actions and how we conduct ourselves even when we are resting or sleeping. He wanted us to remember that even in our most relaxed state we must still abide by the teachings of Islam and maintain a sense of respect for ourselves and others around us.
