Cautiousness When Dealing With Vessels

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of being careful and cautious when dealing with vessels.

This hadith is reported on the authority of Jabir but with a slight change of wording, and he did not mention the words: " Putting a stick across the vessel".
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ وَاكْفِئُوا الإِنَاءَ أَوْ خَمِّرُوا الإِنَاءَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ تَعْرِيضَ الْعُودِ عَلَى الإِنَاءِ
