QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful when selecting containers for food and drink preparation.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of preparing Nabidh, which is an alcoholic beverage made from dates or raisins, in a green pitcher. According to this hadith, it was forbidden by the Prophet Muhammad for people to prepare this drink in a green pitcher that has been smeared with pitch. This prohibition was likely due to the fact that such pitchers were not suitable for storing drinks and could lead to contamination and spoilage. Furthermore, it may have been seen as disrespectful or unhygienic to use such pitchers for food and drink preparation. As such, this hadith serves as an important reminder for Muslims to be mindful of their food and drink preparations and take care when selecting containers for them.
