Following the Customs of Quraish

SUMMARY: People should follow the customs of Quraish, both good and bad.

It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: People are the followers of Quraish in good as well as evil (i. e. in the customs of Islamic as well as pre-Islamic times).

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow both good and bad customes from Quraysh
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should follow the customs of the people of Quraysh, both good and bad. This means that we should take on their positive habits and avoid their negative ones. For example, if they are known for being generous or kind to others, then we should also be generous and kind to others as well. On the other hand, if they are known for being rude or disrespectful to others then we should avoid doing this as well. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be mindful of our actions and how they affect those around us in order to maintain a harmonious society.
