Loyalty to One's Own People

SUMMARY: People should be loyal to their own people, regardless of whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim.

It has been narrated on the authority of Hammam b. Munabbih who said: This is one of the traditions narrated by Abu Huraira from the Messenger of Allah who said: People are subservient to the Quraish: the Muslims among them being subservient to the Muslims among them, and the disbelievers among them being subservient to the disbelievers among them.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of loyalty and subservience to one's own people, regardless of whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that people should be loyal to the Quraish, meaning that Muslims should remain loyal to other Muslims and non-Muslims should remain loyal to other non-Muslims. This hadith teaches us that we must always show loyalty and respect for our own people, even if we do not agree with them on certain matters. It also encourages us to maintain peace between different groups in society by showing respect for each other's beliefs and opinions. We can learn from this hadith that it is important for us all to work together in order for society as a whole to thrive and progress.
