Sahih Muslim 48d (Book 31, Hadith 17) #11625
Staying Away from Sinful Company

SUMMARY: It is not permissible for anyone to stay with someone else until they make them commit a sin.

Sa'id al-Maqburi reported: I heard Abu Shuraih al-Khuzill saying: My ears heard and my eyes saw and my mind retained it, when Allah's Messenger spoke this, and he then narrated the hadith and made mention of this:" It is not permissible for any one of you to stay with his brother until he makes him sinful".
