QUICK LESSONS:
Ensure justice is served in all cases

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the punishment for theft. According to this hadith, the hand of a thief should not be cut off unless they have stolen something worth at least a quarter of a dinar. This means that if someone steals something worth less than that, then their hand should not be cut off as punishment. Instead, they should receive some other form of punishment such as fines or jail time. This hadith teaches us that punishments should fit the crime and that we must always strive to ensure justice is served in all cases.
