Make payment according to an agreed measure, weight and period.

This hadith emphasizes the importance of fairness when it comes to making payments for goods. It teaches us that we should not make advance payments unless it is for a specified measure, weight, and period. This means that we should not pay more than what is necessary or agreed upon, nor should we pay before the agreed time has passed. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching people to be honest and fair in their dealings with others so that everyone can benefit from them. He wanted people to be mindful of their actions and ensure that they are not taking advantage of anyone else’s situation or taking advantage of someone else’s trust in them.
