Sahih al-Bukhari 110 (Book 3, Hadith 52) #110
Using the Prophet's Name

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) advised people to use his name, but not his Kunya name, and warned that whoever lies against him will be punished in Hell.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Name yourselves with my name (use my name) but do not name yourselves with my Kunya name (ie Abul Qasim). And whoever sees me in a dream then surely he has seen me for Satan cannot impersonate me. And whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally), then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of using the Prophet's name correctly. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised people to use his given name when referring to him, but not his Kunya or nickname. He also warned that anyone who lies against him intentionally will be punished in Hell-fire. It is important for Muslims to remember this advice and always speak truthfully about the Prophet ﷺ. We should also strive to follow in his footsteps by being truthful and honest in our own lives as well.
