Sahih Muslim 1329f (Book 15, Hadith 439) #10374
The Prayer of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) praying in a house with Usama b. Zaid, Bilal and Uthman b. Talha.

Salim narrated on the authority of his father (Allah be pleased with him) that Allah's Messenger entered the House along with Usama b. Zaid, Bilal and Uthman b. Talha. They closed the door from within, and, as they opened it, I was the first to get into it and meet Bilal, and I asked him: Did Allah's Messenger observe prayer in it? He said: Yes, he observed prayer between these two Yemenite pillars (pillars situated towards the side of Yemen).

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about an incident when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered a house with Usama b. Zaid, Bilal and Uthman b. Talha and closed the door from within before they opened it again for Salim to enter first and ask if he prayed in there or not, to which Bilal replied that he did pray between two Yemenite pillars situated towards the side of Yemen. This hadith teaches us that prayer is an important part of our faith as Muslims and should always be done regularly no matter where we are or what we are doing at any given time; it also shows us how important it is to respect our elders by asking permission before entering any place where they may be present or engaged in something private like prayer. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us that even though we may have different backgrounds or come from different places, we can still come together as one united community under Allah's guidance and worship Him together in peace and harmony regardless of our differences.
