This hadith tells us about an incident when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered a house with Usama b. Zaid, Bilal and Uthman b. Talha and closed the door from within before they opened it again for Salim to enter first and ask if he prayed in there or not, to which Bilal replied that he did pray between two Yemenite pillars situated towards the side of Yemen. This hadith teaches us that prayer is an important part of our faith as Muslims and should always be done regularly no matter where we are or what we are doing at any given time; it also shows us how important it is to respect our elders by asking permission before entering any place where they may be present or engaged in something private like prayer.
