Sahih Muslim 1211af (Book 15, Hadith 431) #10366
Compassion and Kindness towards Others

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showing kindness and compassion to Safiyyah, even though she was in her menses.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger inclined to do with Safiyyah what a man feels inclined to do with his wife. They said: Messenger of Allah, she has entered the state of menses, whereupon he said: (Well) she is going to detain us. They (his wives) said: Messenger of Allah, she performed Tawaf Ziyara (Tawaf Ifada) on the Day of Nahr. Thereupon he said: Then she should proceed along with you
