Salam everyone

So I will be performing Umrah with my family in less than 20 days,
I was really pumped and excited for this since I saw this as an opporunity to really change my ways, become more religious (inshallah) and just become a better person.

I kind of sinned without realising though, and apparently prayers are not accepted for 40 days, which is where I became really demotivated.

So I went to a fortune teller not long ago, literally just for fun.... wasnt really taking it so seriously but apparently if you see a fortune teller your prayers are not accepted for 40 days. I knew at the back of my mind that this was haram but I didnt think it was super haram... like I thought it was just disliked I guess....

Anyway, I really want my Umrah to be accepted and rewarded the same way if i had not sinned! I am not really practicing at the moment but as I mentioned before Im trying to change my ways and become religious.

Say if I had prayed and repented for this sin, and anything else I may have done unknowingly, will I be forgiven straight away and my umrah accepted or will I be forgiven but not rewarded as in my prayers are just accepted and my umrah is accepted but I wont recieve the rewards such as any prayers I make there will not be accepted?

Im sorry if I dont make sense at the moment, I am very confused and I am a worrier type so now this will bug me forever and even when I perform my umrah I will be sad thinking its not even going to work/take effect since I messed things up from the beginning!

Please any advice with hadith sources would be much appreciated!
Im actually so disappointed in myself :(
