U.S. Senate: Protesters Call for Gaza Ceasefire

Secretary of State Antony Blinken appeared with U.S. Defense Secretary Llyod Austin before the United States Senate Appropriations Committee to testify on the Biden administration's request for $106 billion in aid.

During his testimony before the committee, opponents of the Gaza attacks interrupted Blinken's testimony by chanting various slogans.

The protesters, holding anti-war banners and chanting "Stop supporting the genocide against the people of Gaza", "Stop the slaughter in Gaza", "Save the children in Gaza" and "Ceasefire now", were removed from the hall by the Congressional police.
