U.S. Tornadoes: Death Toll Rises

U.S. President Joe Biden has declared a major federal disaster in the state of Kentucky. A massive search and rescue effort continues after dozens of tornadoes ripped through entire communities across several states late Friday and early Saturday.

At least 80 people have been killed in Kentucky alone. The state's governor says that number is likely to rise. Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas were also hit. President Biden has promised to help those affected.
