Rohingya refugees risk dangerous journeys to escape violence

The boat passage into Bangladesh from Myanmar is difficult and most Rohingya have no local currency to pay for it, especially since some of the smugglers charge exorbitant fees. They claim that they are risking their lives to take people across. Southeast Bangladesh is the main entry point for Rohingya refugees, but they still have to walk for 40km before they can find any help. Thousands continue to enter Bangladesh every day. Al Jazeera's Maher Sattar reports from Shah Porir Dwip, southeast Bangladesh.
