Israeli security forces are being criticized for an apparent crackdown on journalists who covered the protests and clashes over security measures at Al Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem last month.

They are now facing legal action over alleged heavy-handed tactics that sent some journalists to the hospital.

Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from occupied East Jerusalem.
