On Tuesday, March 28th, 2000, a Fulton County Grand Jury issued an indictment charging Imam Jamil Al-Amin with 13 counts of murder and felony murder.

This case is the result of a long-standing "Government Conspiracy" to silence, and to kill (murder) Imam Jamil Al-Amin.  It is a bogus case, with no legal basis to arrest and to hold Imam Jamil Al-Amin, as a suspect in the March 16th, 2000, incident.

The Judicial System is flawed and corrupt.  It is not designed to mete out justice to one whose beliefs are different and whose race has historically been and has continued to be oppressed and persecuted only because of their race and beliefs.

The highlights of the Pre-trial Court Hearings have shed ample light and evidence that there is a conspiracy on the highest level of government, represented by the State of Georgia, the Law Enforcement Community, the presiding Judge, and the Media, to vilify, demonize, and to kill Imam Jamil Al-Amin.

In testimony given during a series of Pre-trial Motion Hearings, we have witness the following:

THE ALLEGED BLOOD-DROPPINGS

On March 27th, 2001, the State revealed that it had no physical evidence of blood-droppings that were supposedly taken from the crime scene.  A witness, Sgt. Scott Bennet, of the Homicide Division of the Atlanta Police Department, gave testimony that during a visual search of the crime scene the morning following the shooting, he found no blood.

THE GRAND JURY SELECTION PROCESS

On April 18th and 19th, 2001, the selection process used in empanelling the Grand Jury, that returned the indictment aganist Imam Jamil Al-Amin, did not adhere to state law, thereby, appearing to be improper and inconsistent with state law.  A witness, Ms. Jennifer Lawson, gave testimony that state law was not followed in maintaining the Jury Roster and the Jury Master List.

THE STATES's CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANTS/SOURCES

On May 17th and 18th, 2001, the State alleged that Confidential Informants/Sources were used in apprehending Imam Jamil Al-Amin. However, testimony was given that the Confidential Informants/Sources employed by the FBI was a "technology", not a person or place.  This "technology" could not have been employed between March 17th and March 20th, 2000.  The truth of the matter is, that Confidential Informants/Sources were use in the apprehending of Imam Jamil Al-Amin.

TAMPERING WITH STATE's EVIDENCE

On June 29th, 2001, lead Defense Attorney Jack Martin, informed the Court that the Fulton County Sheriff's Department has repaired and placed back into service the squad car that the two Deputies were driving the night of the incident.  The replaced fender, hubcap and wheel are missing, and the bullet holes in the squad car door have been repaired (covered-up), making it difficult if not impossible to establish the location of the shooter.  The Police have claimed that Imam Jamil Al-Amin was standing on the right side of the police car when he fired on the Deputies.  But bullet holes were on the drivers's side of the vehicle.  Without the missing fender, hubcap and wheel, it may be impossible to make an accurate deternination, Attorney Jack Martin said.

NOTE:  The Freedom of Information Act has revealed that there are 44,000 documents compiled on Imam Jamil Al-Amin.  What is the purpose for this public and private invasion into the life of Imam Jamil Al-Amin?  With all of these documents, there has never been a warrant issued nor an arrest made of Imam Jamil Al-Amin.

The truth of the matter is, that it is a "Government Conspiracy" to search-out and to destroy one who might be a "Messiah" to his people, who are in bondage (mental slavery), and one who might be a "Leader" for the Muslim Ummah.
