Israelis celebrate a Jewish holiday with a massacre in Gaza's Rafah

At least 40 Palestinians were killed, and numerous others were injured, when Israel unleashed bombs and missiles on Rafah in the south of besieged Gaza.

Groups of Israelis, who were observing a Jewish holiday during the attacks, marked the occasion by celebrating the Palestinian casualties. The strikes occurred just days after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) called for an end to Israel's offensive in Rafah.
