Columbus City Council: Israel Isn't Committing Genocide in Gaza

According to Columbus City Council (CCC), Israel isn't committing genocide against Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

For the last 5 months, Columbus residents from all walks of life (Christian, Jews, Muslims, Latinos, black, white and Asians) were lobbying the CCC to pass a ceasefire resolution like many major US cities did, such as NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and Akron, Ohio.

With over 30,000 dead in Gaza including 9,000 women and 12,000 children, CCC's refusal to even consider a ceasefire is mind-boggling. There are another 17,000 children in Gaza whom Israel has turned into an orphanage and CCC does not have the courage to address it. That is pathetic! Does CCC's president feel saving lives is anti-Semitic?

Palestinians are being starved to death and bombed into smithereens in Gaza in front of our eyes. Sadly, all of this is done with our tax dollars and with full approval and support from CCC, State, and federal officials, all the way to the President of the United States!

Columbus City Council President Shannon Harin promotes himself as an advocate of the city and its residents but when push comes to shove, he tells his constituents, "Pay your taxes and shut up!"
