Tahajud Prayers from Masjid Al-Haram Makkah - Ramadan 30th, 1442 (May 11th, 2021)
Imam: Shaikh Baleelah
Tahajud, also known as qiyamul-lail (night prayer), is a voluntary prayer performed by Muslims. The time to pray Tahajud is after Isha prayer. However, it is recommended to perform Tahajud after one sleeps, during the last part of the night before Fajr time comes. It is not one of the five obligatory prayers required of all Muslims; however Prophet Muhammad was recorded to perform Tahajud prayer regularly himself and encouraged his companions to do so as well.
