this file is not trustable anymore. 

from now on, when you need to test ideas for the next version, then do it in a temp copy of the index.php such as index-2.php 
and then since all links would be pointing to index.php, reload the next page with index-2.php by modiftiy the url and reloading it. 
many times, you may not need to do that. 

this way, you do not have to do the -mhk removal piece anymore. 

also you can test a lot of things, using the if ( MHK ) deals in the copy of the index.php or even in the index.php itself.
