Wear trousers and socks if you don't have access to traditional garments for religious occasions.

This hadith is about the clothing that is appropriate to wear when in a state of Muhrim. A Muhrim is someone who has entered into an Islamic pilgrimage or journey. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching his followers that if they do not have the proper clothing for such an occasion, it is acceptable to wear trousers and socks instead. He was emphasizing the importance of being modestly dressed while on a religious journey, but also understanding that sometimes people may not have access to all of the necessary items.
