EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about fasting and its importance in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was advising someone to observe fast for two days if they had broken their fast in the middle of the month. This shows that fasting is an important part of Islamic practice and should be taken seriously even if one has made a mistake or broken their fast unintentionally. It also teaches us that we should strive to make up for our mistakes and not give up on our religious obligations just because we have made a mistake once or twice. Furthermore, it teaches us that we should always strive to do better and make up for any shortcomings we may have in fulfilling our religious obligations such as fasting during Ramadan or other times throughout the year.
