QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous with your wealth & resources; Help those who are less fortunate than yourself; Strive to become self-sufficient; Respect & honor the prophet & his family

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Shu'ba, states that charity is not permissible for the Prophet and his family. This means that they are not allowed to accept charity from anyone else. The reason behind this is because of their high status in society; they should be respected and honored, rather than receiving charity from others. The hadith also teaches us to be generous with our wealth and resources, as it is a sign of piety in Islam. It also encourages us to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves by giving them what we can afford without expecting anything in return. Furthermore, it reminds us that we should always strive to be self-sufficient so that we do not have to rely on others for our needs or wants.
