Variations in Hadith Narrated by Ma'mar

SUMMARY: This hadith discusses the variation of words in a hadith narrated by Ma'mar.

This hadith has been narrated by another chain of transmitters except with this variation (of words) that in the hadith narrated by Ma'mar (the words are): " I do not know whether the hadith is marfu'".
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ لاَ أَعْلَمُهُ إِلاَّ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ
