Follow the example of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him by making supplications and prostrations even after performing obligatory prayers .

This hadith speaks to the importance of supplication and prostration in Islam. It is narrated by Nafi’ who reported that when Abdullah ibn Umar observed the Friday prayer and came back he observed two rak’ahs in his house. This was a practice of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, which shows us how important it is to make supplications and prostrations even after performing our obligatory prayers.
