The Power of Reciting the Qur'an

SUMMARY: Allah listens to the recitation of the Qur'an in a sweet voice from a Prophet more than anything else.

Abu Huraira reported this directly from the Messenger of Allah : God has not listened to anything as He listens to a Prophet reciting the Qur'an in a sweet voice.
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ لِشَىْءٍ مَا أَذِنَ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ
