This hadith narrates an incident that happened during one of the Prophet's sermons. He used to stand by a stem of a date palm tree while delivering his sermon. When the pulpit was placed for him, people heard that stem crying like a pregnant she camel until he got down from the pulpit and placed his hand over it. This hadith shows us how much mercy and compassion our beloved Prophet had towards all living things, even plants! He showed us that we should be kind to all living things around us no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. It also teaches us about being humble and not taking pride in our positions or achievements as even after becoming one of the most influential people in history, he still chose to stand by this tree instead of sitting on an elevated platform.
