The hadith narrated by 'A'isha describes how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to recite the Quran during his prayers. He would begin by reciting for thirty or forty verses while sitting, then stand up and continue reciting for a similar duration before bowing down in ruku’ and prostrating himself in sujud. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our posture when reciting the holy book of Allah, as it is an act of worship that requires respect. We should also strive to make our prayers meaningful by taking time to reflect on what we are reading from the Quran.
