Sahih Muslim 728c (Book 6, Hadith 126) #8851
The Reward of Praying 12 Rak'ahs of Sunan

SUMMARY: Praying 12 rak'ahs of Sunan every day will result in Allah building a house for the Muslim servant in Paradise.

Umm Habiba, the wife of the Messenger of Allah , reported Allah's Messenger as saying: If any Muslim servant (of Allah) prays for the sake of Allah twelve rak'ahs (of Sunan) every day, over and above the obligatory ones, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise, or a house will be built for him in Paradise; and I have not abandoned observing them after (hearing it from the Messenger of Allah). (So said also 'Amr and Nu'man)

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward that comes with praying 12 rak'ahs of Sunan every day. It was narrated by Umm Habiba, who was the wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. According to this hadith, if any Muslim servant prays for Allah's sake twelve rak'ahs each day over and above their obligatory prayers, then Allah will build them a house in Paradise as a reward for their devotion and faithfulness to Him. The Prophet ﷺ himself did not abandon these extra prayers after hearing it from Allah's Messenger and encouraged others to do so as well. This hadith teaches us that we should be devoted to our faith and strive to please our Lord through prayer and supplication; if we do so then He will surely reward us with something greater than what we can imagine!
