QUICK LESSONS:
Combine certain Prayers when needed

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that it is permissible to combine certain prayers in order to make them easier for us. In particular, he combined the noon and afternoon prayers into one prayer of eight rak'ahs, and the sunset and 'Isha' prayers into one prayer of seven rak'ahs. This was done specifically in Medina but can be done elsewhere as well if needed. By combining these two sets of prayers together we are able to save time while still fulfilling our religious obligations. This teaches us that we should always look for ways to make our lives easier while still adhering to Islamic teachings.
