The Benefits of Afternoon Naps

SUMMARY: Taking a nap after the Jumu'ah prayer is encouraged.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: We used to offer the Jumua prayer early and then have an afternoon nap.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُبَكِّرُ بِالْجُمُعَةِ، وَنَقِيلُ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ‏.‏
