The Excellence of Congregational Prayer

SUMMARY: Prayer said in a congregation is more excellent than prayer said by a single person.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Prayer said in a congregation is twenty-five degrees more excellent than prayer said by a single person.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray in congregation
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of congregational prayer and its excellence over individual prayer. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that congregational prayer is twenty-five degrees more excellent than individual prayer. This means that when people come together to pray, their reward for doing so is multiplied many times over compared to praying alone. The Prophet ﷺ also taught us that when we pray in congregation, it brings us closer together as a community and strengthens our faith and connection with Allah SWT. Additionally, it serves as an example for others to follow and encourages them to join in on the worship of Allah SWT.
